Vår unghund Anton hadde en meget god sesong i 2022, både på jakt og jaktprøver. Dette har resultert i at han 28. januar ble kåret til beste unghund i Midt-Troms Fuglehundklubb, for sesongen 2022. Anton er en viltfinner av rang, og har per 6.2.2023 en viltfinnerevne på 121.37. Noe som vist nok skal bety at han er dyktig, for de som like statistikk. Dette har gjenspeilet seg på jakt, hvor vår unghund er dyktig å finne fugl for felling.
Bare uka etter å ha blitt kåret som god unghund, deltok vi på Klubbmesterskap i AK for Fuglehund Gruppa , til Tromsø hundeklubb. Anton leverte på ny fugl for far. Det ble totalt 7 hunder med tellende fugl, og Anton var i dag den beste hunden. Han er dermed klubbmester i Fuglehundgruppa THK 2023. Vi håper dermed at vår unghund er klar for vinterens vinnerklasse.
Vinterens store mål er å kvalifisere seg til NM på Kongsvoll, inngangsbiletten er der 1. premie Høyfjell. Videre trenger vi en Eksellent på utstilling for å kunne bli Norsk Elitehund, 2 mål som bude være mulig å nå før sommeren. Stor takk til oppdretter Christian/Solfrid og mitt forbilde med hund, Svein Anton Andresen. Som dere ser så prøver vi å leve opp til navnet.
